FAQ
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, go to Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Bloow > Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (or of the free trial) to avoid being charged again. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting the app or your Bloow account does not cancel your subscription.
Plans: 7-day free trial, then €29.99/year, or €7.99/month with no trial. The price shown in the App Store prevails.
How do I get a refund?
Payments are handled by Apple, so refunds are too. Request one at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides according to its own policies; we can't issue refunds directly.
How do I restore my purchases?
If you changed phones or reinstalled the app: open Bloow, then tap Restore purchases on the subscription screen. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the purchase.
How do I delete my account and my data?
You can delete your account in the app, or request deletion by emailing contact@bloow.app. This permanently deletes your account, photos, scores and check-ins. Copies in our backups are also erased. Remember to cancel your subscription separately in iOS Settings. Details in our Privacy Policy.
What happens to my photos?
Your scan photos are sent securely for AI analysis (via OpenRouter to OpenAI, with Anthropic as a fallback) to calculate your scores. They are stored so you can see your progress, until you delete your account. We don't sell them and we don't use them to train our own AI models. Details in our Privacy Policy.
Is Bloow a medical diagnosis?
No. Bloow is a wellness and cosmetic app, not a medical device. It does not provide a medical diagnosis, treatment or medical advice. Scores are indicative. For any concern about your skin or health, see a dermatologist or another healthcare professional.
How does the Apple Health connection work?
Bloow can read your step count only (read-only) to show it next to your daily habits. This data stays on your iPhone: it's never sent to our servers, never shared and never used for advertising.
- To connect: accept the Apple Health prompt in Bloow, or go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > Bloow and turn on Steps.
- Steps not showing? Check that permission is on in that same menu, and that the Health app actually has step data (iPhone or Apple Watch).
My scan isn't working. What can I do?
- Lighting: face a window or soft, even light. Avoid backlight, strong shadows and coloured lights.
- Framing: hold the phone at eye level, about an arm's length away, face centred, looking straight ahead.
- Clear face: remove glasses, pull hair back, avoid heavy makeup or filters for the most consistent results.
- Camera access: check Settings > Bloow > Camera is on. The camera is only used for scans.
- Connection: analysis needs internet. Try Wi-Fi or a better signal.
- Still stuck? Update Bloow from the App Store, restart your iPhone, then email us at contact@bloow.app.
Why do my scores change from one scan to another?
Lighting, angle, time of day and camera all affect results. For the most comparable progress, scan in the same place, with the same light, at the same time of day.
